A fantastic opportunity for a number of experienced Chemical Process Engineer's to join the team at a global pharmaceutical company in Northern Ireland. Our client is a successful manufacturer who provide an extensive range of services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries worldwide.

The Process Engineers will join the Sciences Division ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects to the highest industrial and pharmaceutical standards.

Opportunities available for Process Engineers, Senior Process Engineers and Principal Process Engineers.



Responsibilities:

  • Support introduction of process and utility equipment in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing environment
  • Ensure all equipment conforms to specification, design and process description
  • Manage validation, installation and commissioning processes
  • Carry out risk assessments and feasibility studies
  • Assist with development of process control and document management systems
  • Support procurement and purchasing activities
  • Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplined team to ensure project requirements and expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering - Essential
  • Min 8 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience gained in API pharmaceutical or a scale up laboratory environment
  • Knowledge/experience of P&IDs, Commissioning, Validation, Qualification processes, Hazard studies
  • Experience of pump/heat exchanger calculations
  • Knowledge/experience of distillation, separation, powder handling, batch reaction processes
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
