Warehouse Operations Manager

This well-established manufacturer of high specification infrastructures, the Materials, Planning and Logistics Manager would like to attract a warehouse operations professional who will effectively engage with this growing business.

As Warehouse Operations Manager, key responsibilities will be to: -

• Oversee the daily warehouse and logistics operations for a 5,000 sq metre operation that holds 10,000 sku's.
• Manage KPI's for the department, continuously looking to make improvements.
• Manage and develop team of eight.
• Establish and develop the team structure as the site grows.
• Ensure stock holding is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure stock is available to feed to manufacturing.
• Always ensure health and safety is a priority at all times.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have experience managing in a warehouse using SAP.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well.
• Have 3PL experience.
• Have worked in a warehouse within a manufacturing environment.
• Enjoy engaging and managing a team.
• Have excellent leadership qualities.

On offer: -

• Salary to £50,000
• 25 days (3 or more for Xmas closure) + 8 bank holidays.
• Pension 4% employee/ 7% employer contributions.
• Sickness absence pay up to 4 weeks +1 per year (Maximum of 8).
• Working hours (37hr week)
• Monday-Thursday: 0800-1630 (30 min unpaid lunch).
• Friday: 0800 - 1300 early finish on Fridays.
• EV Charges on site.
• Occupational Health & Health Surveillance.
