Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Elevate Your Engineering Career!
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical engineering capabilities to play a crucial role in ensuring plant reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS),
- Deliver both mechanical and electrical engineering support across production lines and site facilities.
- Plan and implement equipment upgrades and modifications as part of ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to capital projects, managing timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships.
- Assist with development of PPM schedules, SOPs, and corrective action procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental inspections.
- Oversee compliance with environmental directives and fire safety protocols.
- Collaborate regularly with Production Management, Line Leaders, Operators, Finance, Purchasing, QHSE, Materials Planning, and Customer Service teams.
About You
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- NVQ, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering
- 18th Edition certification (advantageous)
- City & Guilds in Electrical Inspection & Testing
- Skilled in reading engineering drawings
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and driven to make impactful improvements
Shift Pattern
Week 1- Monday- Thursday- 06:00- 14:00 Friday- 06:00- 12:00
Week 2- Monday - Thursday- 14:00- 22:00 Friday- 12:00- 18:00
