ESTIMATING MANAGER - AEROSPACE

£60,000 basic + bonus, 25 days holiday, life assurance, health care,

Hours- Monday- Thursday 8.00-4.45 Friday finish at 12.30

Location: Bournemouth

We are recruiting for a leading aerospace manufacturer who supplies into blue-chip aerospace customers. My client manufacturers a diverse range of components and systems into multiple, unexplored aerospace supply chains. Part of a global group the successful Estimating Manager will predominantly office based in the stat of the art Bournemouth site.

Following a recent acquisition by a global aerospace group, this long-established aerospace manufacturer is about to embark on a journey of investment, modernisation, realignment and integration. To underpin this programme, there is a need to inject a new, fresh approach to their strategy.

Role:

With the support of your team of commercial professionals, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of quotations and proposals
• Submitting of estimates to clients
• Handling 50- 100 quotes per year
• Evaluating bid data and engineering drawings
• Typical proposal values range from £250k- £2million
• Understand client expectations to produce detailed estimates
