HR Advisor

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their successful team in the Bury area.

The HR Advisor will report in to the HR Manager. The role will include a variety of roles and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Support the HR Manager with delivery of the HR strategy, through successful operational HR Management

Induction - Managing employee induction process, ensuring it is up to date and aligned to our values and covers all depots

Recruitment & Selection - working with Line Managers to support on writing Job Descriptions; internal and external advertising and circulation of vacancies; sourcing effective recruitment marketing solutions; initial CV sift; arranging interviews; administration of correspondence with candidates (& recruitment agencies where necessary); administration of correspondence with new employee. Reviewing analytical data to capture where our shortfalls are and where areas require improving

Absence Management - producing reports; supporting line managers in managing attendance including attending meetings where necessary and providing advice. Holding monthly meetings to capture data and building relationships with management to ensure capability of employees are dealt with effectively

ER - Providing advice and support to managers regarding any employee relation matters that arise; attending ER meetings to take notes and provide guidance at varying stakeholder capability

HR Projects - Support & lead on key HR projects including the annual appraisal process, People Survey action plans, reward and recognition, contractual changes and management development

Training - identifying development needs and developing training solutions. Booking training courses as and when required for the wider business and leading on training when required

Administration - Various HR administration tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information through T&A system and personnel files in line with GDPR, ensuring probation reviews are completed and producing letters and manager guidance documents

The candidates must have:

CIPD Level 5 qualification

Come from a fast-paced industry I.e. Manufacturing

Be a Generalist

Excel literacy

Exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communications skills

Confident liaising with stakeholders

Salary is paying up to £30k with additional benefits such as pension, bonus etc.
