My client, a manufacturers of safety critical equipment for the construction sector is offering an exceptional opportunity to an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a progressive opportunity.
With aggressive planned growth due to acquisition over the near future, my client is looking to build from the ground up, a Quality department to bring the company up to date and in line with correct practice in this busy, fast paced and safety critical environment.
As the Quality Engineer, you will be tasked with the Maintenance and management of the site Quality function once the implementation of Quality Management systems along with SOPs across site has been completed.
In your infancy, you will shadow experienced contract Quality Manager who will implement QMS and mentor you within the operational aspects of the role.
This will be a short transition eventually leaving you fully responsible for the site Quality function reporting directly into the Group Technical Director.
This is an advantageous position for a Quality Engineer in their career infancy looking to progress and grow quickly with a supportive team in place to help you grow.
You will be developed into a Senior Quality Engineer immediately so those applicable will only be those looking to progress quickly in a responsible Quality position.
Full training will be given to the right candidates, the responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Auditing (internal and external)
- Managing non conformances
- QMS Management
- Continuous Improvement activities
- Customer complaints handling
- Rout Cause Analysis
- Corrective/preventative action
- Developing SOP's to meet quality standards
- QC/QA Testing
- Maintaining ISO 9001
- Maintaining C Marking
- Document control
- Supplier Quality Management
- Experienced Quality Engineer
- ISO 9001
- Quality Complaint handling
- Document control
- FMEA Experience
- Auditing (Internal/External)
- QMS Management/maintenance experience
- Continuous Improvement (projects/activities)
- 8D Reporting

- Experience creating and implementing SOP's
