Quality Engineer
Stockport
Up to £48,000

Join my clients team, a renowned multinational engineering manufacturer, as a Quality Engineer.
As a Quality Engineer, you will;
- Ensure quality in all processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective quality assurance processes.
- Review specifications for products and processes.
- Use continuous improvement techniques for maximum assembly opportunities.
- Manage non-conformances through effective root cause analysis.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Quality Processes.
- Conduct internal and external audits, reporting non-compliance.
- Provide proactive support on product quality to production teams.
- Represent customer interests at all times.
- Use the following skills and techniques to ensure quality: RCAI, ICA, 8D, PPAP, DFMEA, SixSigma, Control plans, Auditing.
Requirements:
- HNC Qualified
- Experience in the following quality tools: RCAI, ICA, 8D, PPAP, DFMEA, Control plans, Auditing.
- Six Sigma Trained (Green belt minimum)
- ISO9001 Knowledge.
- Previous quality experience from Manufacturing.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with welding fabrication and assembly.
- Knowledge of ISO14001, 45001.
- Familiarity with Defence industry assembly/manufacturing.
