Site Maintenance Engineer

Injection Moulding

Days Role - 7 - 3

A new opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team of a small, but very successful injection mould manufacturing company in Greater Manchester.

As sole Maintenance Engineer on site, you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including:

  • Reactive and preventative maintenance across a range of injection mould presses and ancillary equipment
  • Shut downs and start ups
  • Machine service schedules
  • Site services/facilities maintenance
  • Contrbuting to site wide improvement projects


  • Apprentice trained Engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience maintaining injection moulding machines
  • Multi-skilled - able to attend mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Experience of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience maintaining electrical systems
  • Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Able to manage own workload effectively
  • Flexible to provide out of hours support when needed
