We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join the team of a global engineering company, based at a manufacturing facility in Fife.

Our client is a global leader who specialise in the design and manufacture of high-performance, electro-mechanical products used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications.

The Product Manager will be responsible for managing all activities throughout the product lifecycle from concept to launch.

Key tasks:

• Work closely with Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure delivery of products in line with objectives and business strategy
• Deliver solutions which meet customer needs and market expectations
• Conduct market, technology and competitive product assessments
• Create and develop business proposals for new ideas, establish pricing and product costs
• Increase profitability of existing products
• Maintain up to date product forecasts and deliver presentations
• Co-ordinate stakeholders to support product lines from launch to end of life cycle
• Assist in the development of training materials and manage web related activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers

Essential requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering / Technical discipline
• Experience of Product Management preferably in an engineering/technical marketing environment
• Experience of development and change processes; product launch and product changes
• Knowledge and understanding of market trends and technologies
• Ability to articulate plans, influence others and make sound functional and business decisions
• High attention to detail, results driven, and self-confident
• Commercial acumen
• Customer user experience
